In addition, there will be a neutral and comprehensive description of the status and development of habitats in mainland Norway according to the Natur in Norge (NiN) system [Nature in Norway], as well as provide reference data that can be used in remote survey projects. The monitoring will contribute to strengthening the data basis for the environmental management and environmental-political decision processes. A description of the assignment can be found in Appendix B — Scope of Works, and associated references.
