        — hazardous waste that is transported internally in the hospitals and turned into residual waste at the hospitals. The waste in this work flow is steam sterilised at the hospitals in autoclaves that reach a maximum of approx. 134 degrees Celcius.

        Tenders can be submitted for the following lots:

        1) Hazardous waste boxes approx. 34x24x54cm (lxbxh) with sack;

      4. Description of the procurement:

        The contracting authority would like tenders for hazardous waste boxes and hazardous waste sacks for use in the hospitals in Helse Bergen HF, Helse Stavanger HF, Helse Fonna HF, Haraldsplass Diakonale Sjukehus, as well as Hospitalet Betanien. Tenders are wanted for products that are mainly for use in 2 work flows:

        — hazardous waste that is transported internally in the hospitals, and transported by road for recycling/destruction,

        — hazardous waste that is transported internally in the hospitals and turned into residual waste at the hospitals. The waste in this work flow is steam sterilised at the hospitals in autoclaves that reach a maximum of approx. 134 degrees Celcius.

        Helse Bergen HF, needs one box of approx. 45 litres, which has dimensions that enable a high use of an existing freezer container with the following inner dimensions (useable room within the container): 544x227x227 cm (lxbxh). A box with the outer dimensions 34x24x54 (lxbxh) is currently used, with this box the container space is well used (room for 540 boxes). The contracting authority needs an impervious hazardous waste sack for this box, which fits the box.

        The contracting authority, c/o the remaining companies, need a box (the same box or a different one to Helse Bergen HF) of approx. 45 litres. The contracting authority is more flexible here as regards dimensions, but dimensions that fit the EUR pallet standard can be preferred for further transport by road. This box may be used for both main work flows, ref. above, and must therefore have both a sack that is vapour permeable/suitable for autoclaves, and a sack that is impervious. Vapour permeable sacks will, however, be a separate lot (2), so that tenderers who can only offer impervious sacks can submit a tender without offering vapour permeable sacks.

        It must be possible to use both boxes in a steam autoclave and both must be able to be exposed to a maximum temperature of approx. 134 degrees Celcius for approx. 8 minutes. The contracting authority does not require that the boxes are still UN-certified after such a process, but the contracting authority requires that the boxes do not fall apart after being in an autoclave.

        The contracting authority also needs an impervious yellow hazardous waste sack, which will be used for, amongst other things, contaminated/infectious soiled workwear.

        At times the surgical departments at the health trusts have wanted a hazardous waste box that is larger than approx. 45 litres. Tenderers can offer this, with the accompanying hazardous waste sack under "Other Assortment". Products offered her will not be part of the evaluation.

        See the estimated volume given in Annex 1 — Price Sheet.

        See Annex 1 — Price Form and Annex 2 — Requirement Specifications for more detailed information.

        Tenders can be submitted for the following lots:

        1) Hazardous waste box, approx. 34x24x54cm (lxbxh) with a sack (estimated annual value approx. 800 000 NOK);

        2) Vapour permeable sack 70-80 cm wide, at least 100 cm long (estimated annual value approx. 350 000 NOK);

        3) Hazardous waste box with a sack, and a sack for soiled textiles (estimated annual value approx. 1 300 000 NOK).
