         The contract includes consultancy services for detailed statement and planning of programme for sharing core data for the National Infrastructure of Geospatial Information in the Republic of Albania.

         The project shall support ASIG (the National Infrastructure of Geospatial Information in the Republic of Albania) with the development of the geographical infrastructure in the Republic of Albania.

         The consultant(s) must identify and prepare an initial draft for procedures, technology and guidelines which shall contribute to co-operation between the geographical services and enable sharing through a National Geo-Portal for five prioritised core data sets from various collaborators/expert departments in the Republic of Albania.

         The consultant"s main assignment will be the planning of the implementation of a national programme which also must include a cost estimate for the implementation.
